Thank you so much to John and Ros. We had a beautiful time at the Bunkhouse. We had a group of 19 on one of the days and there was plenty of room for everyone. John and Ros had the fire going before we arrived which heated up the house nicely and they were very flexible with finalising numbers which was perfect for a large group. The scenery is beautiful and there’s plenty to do and enjoy. Would highly recommend staying here. Thanks again! I would very much book again.
We had a lovely weekend at the Village Green, such a pleasant get-away in the country-side and the bunkhouse was perfect for our requirements. Definitely would consider coming back again.
Thanks John & Ros for a great weekend. Everyone had a great time. Such a beautiful location, and being able to get outside and play a friendly game of cricket was very enjoyable. I have another bucks to plan soon, so who knows, may be back!
Great place for a very relaxing time. John and Ross are great hosts and will go the extra mile to make sure your stay will be enjoyable. Very peaceful area and accommodation was great with plenty of wildlife to enjoy around the property. Can highly recommend.
Our trip to the Village Green and Pavilion bunk house was a very nice way to spend our weekend. The surroundings were magnificent and the view from the bunk house was unlike any other. All amenities were as described and the fireplace heated the whole bunkhouse perfectly. John was a great host and was very helpful, going out of his way to jump start one of our cars when it wouldn’t start! Thanks John and Ros!

John and Ros made us feel welcome at the very beautiful Village Green. The stay was exactly what we were looking for and fit the description provided by John and Ros. Everything was clean and comfortable and the grounds are amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great activities filled trip just outside of Melbourne.
We had such a great experience staying with John and Ros at the Village Green. From the moment we arrived we were treated to exceptional hospitality. The bunkhouse was much more than a bunkhouse with the pot belly fire, open lounge/dining kitchen area providing a huge family environment. The cricket ground was in excellent condition, even if our skills didn’t match those of the ground keeper. On Saturday night John had prepared a large campfire for our group to sit around, catch-up, reminisce and enjoy. The feedback form everyone within our group has had a common theme……..”Best Weekend Ever”. John and Ros we can’t thank you enough, wishing you all the best for the future. Thanks, Pete.
Thanks John and Ros for a great 3 days. We felt like we belonged right from the start with the quick cricket tour. It was great to have a group as large as ours under the same roof. (16) The wood heater was amazing. Loved the mountain climb, a bit of effort but even the 4 year old made it The Landcare grudge cricket match was a bonus. We enjoyed the few games we had on ground. Have some great family photos to take to Europe for the year.
The hosts, Ros & John were very welcoming. They accommodated our family at late notice even with some delays caused by Airbnb processing. We really enjoyed our stay at the Pavilion and it was a wonderful break from the city. Peaceful mornings and fabulous scenery of the rolling hills. My son was delighted to have met and patted Tom (resident horse), which was a real bonus. He also got to see wildlife at night: a wombat and many Kangaroos. Warning: drive very slow on local roads at night or avoid altogether if you are not familiar with the Australian countryside. Ros gave us some local tourist advice, which made our time in the area more valuable. We had dinner at a pub in Broadford and lunch in Yea. Altogether a very memorable trip.
