Room Description

Bring the family – yours and someone else’s!

The Village Green Bunkhouse offers self-contained accommodation in the spectacular Strath Valley. It’s a fantastic getaway and ideal for groups, with or without children!

You can climb the nearby hills – watch out for wombat holes – make use of the cricket oval and cricket nets for your own fun and games, or simply soak up the views from the veranda.

The Bunkhouse has 7 rooms altogether. There’s a large open plan kitchen and lounge, 2 bathrooms, 1 room with 2 single beds, and 3 bunk rooms comprising 10, 8 and 6 beds.

The bunks have pillows and fitted sheets provided – please supply your own sleeping bags/top sheets and blankets, and towels.

    • A central living area with several couches
    • A wood burning stove that warms the entire bunkhouse beautifully
    • A small kitchenette containing a free-standing oven, microwave, kettle and toaster
    • TV, DVD, and small DVD library.
    • A side decked area and wide verandah, with a hooded BBQ provided. The views are sensational!

Tariff

The Bunkhouse can sleep up to 26 people. The cost of $350 per night is for up to 12 people. For more than 12, there is an extra cost of $30 per person. We do impose a minimum 2-night minimum stay. Higher rates may apply during school holidays and over long weekends.

Cancellation Policy

Deposit is refundable if notice of cancellation is given 7 days prior to the booked date

Dog friendly

By arrangement, we’re happy for you to bring your dog with you, provided it’s toilet trained and will be well supervised. For the comfort of other guests, we don’t allow dogs inside, but there’s a covered verandah outside. There is livestock and there are native animals (kangaroos and wombats) on the property, so we do ask you call us to discuss, before your visit. There is a cleaning fee of $10 per dog.

You can use our form to make a reservation, and we will contact you about the tariff. Alternatively, you can contact us to discuss your requirements.

Please note, a 50% deposit must be paid within 5 working days of your reservation for your booking to be confirmed. Bookings can be made by direct transfer and the details will be provided via email within 24 hours of your booking. If we don’t receive your payment, your booking will be surrendered. Of course, if you have any concerns or questions, just email or call us within the 5 days – we will be happy to help.
